BAM Karaoke

BAM Karaoke Box runs private karaoke rooms you book for the night, since 2014. Behind every night out there's a booking, a deposit, drinks at the bar, sometimes a quote for a company, and an invoice at the end. All of it runs on in-house tools.

I mostly work on the back-office, BAM Admin (a React + MUI front, a NestJS API): bookings, orders, quotes, deposits, refunds and credit notes, with a real split between individuals and companies (checked SIREN and SIRET, a complete billing address before anything gets invoiced).

I also built the billing service, a NestJS micro-service sitting in front of Pennylane for both BAM and TSL: a deposit invoice at booking, a credit note and a new invoice when the booking changes, the final invoice after the session. Every document is versioned, so nothing is ever issued twice.

On the bar side, I rebuild the drinks rung up on Lightspeed and attach them to the right night, even when it runs past midnight 🌙 And a bit of the booking site: early bird, extra time, promo codes.
